WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO SUCCEED IN LIFE?

The journey to a successful life is not a smooth-running
task. For a man to make it in life he must past through so many challenges
or obstacles in his life unless he was born with a golden spoon in his month. It is extremely difficult to succeed in life but not impossible with God.
Looking around the world today, the
large majority of the people living in it find it extremely difficult to live
up to an average life they wish to live or even cope with life. With so many
people struggling for survival, and with so many unscrupulous individuals
looking more to extract money from us rather than to assist us in making it, trying
to convince us that some system is going to solve all of our financial problems
or afford us with our dreams’ life, it becomes even more complex to make it in
life. When we tried all possible odds without achieving success, we begin to wonder and ask ourselves why it’s so hard to succeed in life. Why is it so difficult to push through and
achieve our goals or attain all of the things that we secretly desire in our
minds?
THE REAL REASON WHY LIFE IS SO TOUGH
I have watched the way our world
works. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest
warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the
skillful are not necessarily wealthy. Even those who are educated don’t always
lead successful lives and vice versa. Success is just a divine grace. It is all
decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time with a right
requirement due to the scarce resources. So it is difficult to succeed in life
because the demand for available resources needed to achieve success is higher
than the supply. To a large extent, all human evolved with a streak of physical
and behavioral qualities that primarily benefit themselves. This basic drive
makes us to struggle for survival. And this fact makes life hard.
Let me share this popular story with you;A man was leading a happy life with his wife and two children, considerably a rich rife. He was earning a lot of money in his business which was more than enough for a small family like his. But after 5-6 years, he started losing all his wealth because of some unexpected scenarios. And as a consequence of it, his wife and children also started suffering. Finally, after trying all possible odds to get back to his old times, he fails. He got disappointed badly that he decides to commit suicide when no options were left to choose. He climbs a tall mountain and was about to fall from the top of it. Luckily, he gets to meet a monk (Sanyasi) there. Out of curiosity, the man goes near the monk. He tells all his life events and his position he was at that moment. He asks the monk only one question: "Why the life is tough?"
The monk tells him to take a deep breath and answers the question: "Well, you were leading a happy life few years back. Have you ever thought on why your life was so easier or happier than ever?" The man got stuck right there and could not even dare to open his mouth. The monk conveyed the message: "My dear son, life is neither easy, nor difficult. It is purely based on two aspects: one is, how you perceive things and another, how you act on them. Perception affects your actions and actions affect the outcome. So, never try to perceive things in negative manner because that affects your action. As of now, stay calm for a moment and get back to your family since lot of good things awaiting you in future. God bless you...!”
So, my dear brethren, whatever may be the problems in your life, I implore you to stay calm, think in a better way to solve them and act wisely. Trust and have faith in God in all things you do or desire. Never lose hope in life. Success is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time, by being prepared at all times. As long as there is life there is hope and there is no constant term in this world except 'change'. So, never try to perceive things in negative manner due to circumstances, because perception affects your actions and actions affect the outcome. Be strong and courageous! Surely, one day, you get out of that situation.
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness” (James 1:2-3).
James tells us something that is
just the opposite of the way the world thinks. Most believe that trials are not
good at all but we are to count it or see it as beneficial when we encounter
trials because the testing of our faith produces steadfastness in our trials.
Without having the joy, the trials will only bring sorrow, but if we look at it
from God’s perspective, we can count it as a joyful experience, knowing that
God is producing a steadfast faith through various tests that we go through.
